Planet Discover, a subsidiary of the Gannett Company, was formed in 2003 through a vision to provide local search for media company websites recognized as trusted sites to their audience. Planet Discover's technology allows businesses to leverage content already available to them, delivering local, relevant search results that are relevant to the site visitor. Planet Discover's applications and technology help drive traffic to websites, and provide online advertising revenue opportunities.
Planet Discover utilizes Software as a Service (SasS) to deliver its software and applications across the Internet. With SaaS, Planet Discover customers are not required to install hardware and software associated with building a local search solution. Furthermore, our clients benefit from the decreased need for software and IT support resources.
